- Sven Focken-Kremer Added August 14, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a backpacker recommendation! This mechanic is the best I have ever been in Australia. We had a breakdown near his workshop during the Christmas holidays. Even it means holiday for him too, he came and fixed our car. He worked a whole day to find out what's going on with the engine. On the end of the day it turns out a further mechanic misplaced an item. So what should I say: he charged us only for the work to fix the problem, not for the research. Means 2 hours instead of nearly ten. He explained us everything so it was easy to understand what was wrong.
You can imagine my surprise when he called me after a few weeks just for asking if everything is still alright.
Of course I went a second time to his place for a check and oil change. It was a way cheaper compared to my check in Perth.
So long Story short : go to this mechanic and you will not regret your choice!
